Project description
OKO develops affordable mobile-based crop insurance products to provide smallholder farmers with the financial security they need, regardless of unstable climate trends. OKO uses new technologies in satellite imagery and weather forecasting to simplify and automate claim management. OKO also works with loan institutions to facilitate access to capital for insured farmers. They are currently working withe farmers from Mali and Uganda.
