4G everywhere in Burundi

Project description

The mobile telephony operator Lumitel, a Burundian subsidiary of Viettel Telecom group, extends its 4G service to the entire country in February 2018. Until then, 4G was available in a few big cities only. To allow 4G in rural zones, Lumitel deployed 3 300 kmo fibre optic and installed 112 4G antennas.
