The hundreds of thousands subscribers of Electricity of Guinea (EDG) are now able to pay their bills without having to go to an agency, which was compulsory beforehand. The public company for the set up of remote elecrticity bills payment solutions, in partnership with E-Cash allows users of the Mobile Money service displayed by the mobile telephony society MTTN-Guinea, to pay their bills via their smartphone. This service is easy to use and will allow the unblocking of EDG services. Moreover, it will encourage people to fulfill their payments before the deadline and reduce unpaid bills. This partnership is part of the development of the mobile payment ecosystem at a national scale.
