Project description

The Regulation and Telecommunications Control Autority (ACRT) of Burundi is the initiative of the "Burundi Wide Bandwidth" project. Its purpose is to cover the entire national territory with a broadband connectivity. Forward, the project shall allow Burundi to drastically increase the quality of its Internet connection whilst its population appears as one of the least connected to the Internet in the world. The project is entirely funded by the Burundian government.
