Enova Robotics created the P-Guard robot, which has been in operation in Tunis since the end of March as part of a pilot program. The robot, which is fitted with speakers and a camera that can be controlled remotely, can transmit safety commands, verify the authenticity of circulation authorizations, and ensure compliance with the lockdown. Such interventions will help to delay the COVIC-19’s spread. The robot is controlled by security officers operating from an operation room at the Ministry of Interior through surveillance cameras, where a security officer asks citizens to show permits that allow them to roam the streets during the curfew.
