Project description

Waxd is a South African mobile payment company that enables payments using biometric through its Raven ecosystem. This means that the user can make payments at the store or while paying transport tickets with no cards, smart devices, or pins securely at minimal cost with no transaction charges using just their fingerprint. With this Raven ecosystem, Waxd also enables the tracking and payments of goods as they move through the Agricultural ecosystem (agricultural value chain). The Waxd user can directly link their bank account or load a wallet to enable payments. Using their mobile devices, Waxd users can scan a QR code to trigger a transaction with a merchant. Waxd also operates in Nigeria.
