VulaMobile

A platform to connect health professionals in South Africa.

Project description

Launched in 2014 by Dr. William Mpaham, after the 2013 SAB Foundation Social Innovation Award and with the help of a generous grant from the Shuttleworth Foundation and some design prototypes by Flow Interactive, The Vula Mobile app connects general practitioners in remote areas with ophthalmologists in hospitals. Today, specialists from different sectors can now use this tool.
