Pelebox

A medical smart locker to help patients

Project description

Pelebox Smart Locker is a digital dispenser installed in hospital. It is filled with medicines by healthcare workers. While patients usually wait several hours in South African hospitals to get their medication, Pelebox dispenses medecines within just 36 seconds. Patients who has to pick up prescriptions use a one-time personal identification number (PIN) sent to their phones ahead of time to access their locker of medicines. The dispenser stocks medecines for patients and can serve between 70-300 patients which allows people to be served quickly.
