Passdocteur

An application for the Senegalese diaspora

Project description

PassDocteur is a startup offering a medical expenses care solution of a third person, with no constraint linked to distance. The startup was created in 2013 by Moussa Traoré. Its purpose is to allow expatriates to entirely take over the medical expenses of their parents and monitor their health status. From a platform available via Internet, they're able to make an appointment and pay services online. Following this booking, the doctor is informed and confirms the appointment while notifying the patient. This one will receive an SMS, an authentification code and will have to present himself on time. PassDocteur won the Social Entrepreneur contest in Africa in 2014, organised by Orange. Its business model relies on the ability for expatriates to cater to their relative's well-being via a web platform.
