Deployment of 1 600 km of fibre optic in Mauritania to enrich the national backbone with broadband

Project description

Deployment of 1 600 km of fibre optic to expand the broadband national backbone of Mauritania. The infrastructure, financed as part of a supporting West African Regional Communications Infrastructure Program (WARCIP), is meant to open several areas of the national territory up. Once deployed, the 1 600 km of fibre optic will allow mobile telephony operators such as Mauritel, Mattel and Chinguitel to improve their service in the entire country.
