OpenClassrooms

The online platform to foster youth employment in Africa

Project description

To support the development of digital skills is the mission Pierre Dubuc wants to achieve through the startup OpenClassrooms he co-founded with Mathieu Nebra, in 2013, in Paris. To live by its slogan "make education accessible", the structure which consists of 70 employees offers diploma, certifying and professional oriented courses for digital jobs (website developer, digital marketing, data scientist) as well as cross-cutting functions of the company (commercial, project managing, human resources), remotely, via internet. Courses in French, English and Spanish, have already been displayed to millions of people among which thousands of Africans promised to stable opportunities, as OpenClassrooms collaborates with the mobile operator Orange Africa in order to reinforce its actions in Africa, in particular through the development of 3 to 18 months long formations.
