Project description
Lumkani is a social enterprise that tackles the problem of slum fires in informal urban neighborhoods in South Africa. They have developed a rapid alert system to limit the risk of fire spread. By collecting all data coming from fire detectors on temperature, they can measure the risk of fires and limit false alarms. This smart network of fire detectors will help reduce fire risks.
