Widen the access to the Internet in Uganda's remote areas

Project description

As part of an agreement on a partnership with the NGO Internet for Humanity, the operator Pivotel committed to providing 20 Redport Optimizer Premier Wi-Fi hotspots as well as steady services to spread Internet access in Ugandan remote areas. The technical solutions Pivotel brings about enable data compressing for daily Internet applications like Skype for instance, and allow for a reduction of 80% of data such as ads and pictures, meaning huge cost savings.
