Promotion of data science in Africa

Project description

Following a partnership between two universities, Kenya's Strathmore University Business School and the United Kingdom's JGI-University of Bristol, the aim is to develop data science in Africa to help tackle all the challenges. This partnership will strenghten the role of bringing new technologies and innovation to areas and exchange of ideas and set goals within sectors such as health care, agriculture, wildlife conservation and economics... Developing data science capacity in Kenya and the region is key to addressing some of the greatest societal challenges faced by the community. This will help to unlock economic opportunities of significant benefits.
