Project description
Andela is a computing developers nursery located in Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria. The company aims at detecting talents in countries where people under 35 years old represent a big part of the population to hold the millions of developer positions currently vacant at the global scale. To integrate the Andela programms, candidates are subject to a harsh selection and the few hundred that are admitted follow six to nine months-long formations, coached by profesionals. Andela came into the continent in less than five years, reinforcing its presence since October, 2017, thanks to a third fund raising of 40 millions of dollars. Among the investors, we have the Chan-Zuckerberg Foundation, Learning Capital or TLcom, funds specialised in technologies risk capital.
