In Setswana, “Tshimologong” means “fresh start”. It is the name of the South African hub located at the heart of the creative and dynamic neighbourhood of Braamfontein, in Johannesburg. This place is like a meeting point between project makers at the origin of initiatives relying on digital technologies and a team to help developing the project until its maturation. The hub, opened in 2016, is the initiative of the University of Witswatersand that attracts public and private South African partners but also foreign ones like the French Development Agency that financally invests in the Tshimogolong Precinct.
